    Those aren't Altec horns.

They're identical to some i have that were pulled from Community boxes. I'm not sure if Community made them or outsourced them.

Nice eyesight Bowtie- Community did make their own.

Back in the 70's that whole town was in a fog of fiberglass fumes.

The last time I talked with him about them, Bill had NEW MR931-12's @ Great Plains Audio at a VERY reasonable price.

Call him at (405) 789-0221, and tell him I sent you.

At $165 strike price that was a deal if just for the 902's.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Maybe, i'd still call it a gamble. If you get em home and discover them to be "issue free" then yes, a great deal.

The pigtails with the 1/4 inch plug suggest to me that these saw "handling" outside of an enclosure. That always makes me nervous about them having been dropped or bumped which opens a whole can of allignement worms.

From the investment standpoint, i'll stick to buying 808-8B and 802-8G one at a time and blown.

After having them recharged and phrammed at GPA, what i have is worth far more than what i've spent.

    just my 3 cents................. YMMV
